Overview

abbox ("we," "us," or "our") provides a product workspace that connects to your GitHub repositories and helps your team understand what your application offers. This policy describes how we handle personal information when you use our website and services.

Information we collect

• Account data — email address and credentials you provide when you sign up or sign in.
• Early access requests — email address when you join our waitlist.
• GitHub connection data — repository metadata and code we access to build your product map, using tokens or permissions you authorize. We do not sell repository contents.
• Usage and technical data — basic logs (for example IP address, browser type, and pages viewed) to operate and secure the service. We may use analytics tools such as Google Analytics when enabled.

How we use information

We use the information above to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve abbox;
• Authenticate you and manage your workspace;
• Process repository data to generate and store product maps;
• Respond to support and early-access requests;
• Protect against abuse, fraud, and security incidents;
• Comply with legal obligations.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers who help us host infrastructure, send email, or run analytics, under contracts that limit their use. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

Retention

We keep account and workspace data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us; some data may be retained where we have a legal obligation or legitimate need (for example security logs).

Your choices

You can update account details in the product where available. You may revoke GitHub access through GitHub settings. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data — contact us to exercise those rights.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

abbox is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date.
